Bobwear is a set of unique, hand-drawn t-shirt designs which are intended to support and promote a series of paintings which is in progress. (The series to date can be found here).
The t-shirts have developed a life of their own and are now building into a small family of short-run ‘themes’ – Cartoons, Art-T’s and Kids.
As a fan of Hugh MacLeod of gapingvoid fame, I eventually realised that these are, in fact, Social Objects in their own right.
What I am doing now is broadening the reach while keeping the uniqueness. All Tees are still hand drawn, but I’m now putting them in a web shop. Can I get an item of Bobwear onto every continent – that would be fantastic.
